Maddie is a social impact strategist building programs that move people to action and better our democracy, media, and climate.
Hi there 👋🏻
I’m Maddie. It’s great to meet you.
I'm a New England native based in Brooklyn, N.Y. with a passion for supporting organizations scale their impact and achieve their goals.
I specialize in strategic planning, program management and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising and philanthropic investment. I have over ten years of experience in social impact, including:
I managed stakeholder engagement and fundraising for More Perfect, a nonpartisan coalition of 150+ organizations, philanthropies, and for-profit companies working on democracy issues such as local media, tech policy, and election infrastructure.
I designed and evaluated programs at the Impact Project, a pooled donor fund supporting state and local campaigns.
I was the executive director of Freedom Virginia, a non-profit at the intersection of civic engagement and economic security.
I was a public engagement consultant at 270 Strategies, where I worked with some of the largest pro-environment organizations and companies, and also supported international projects.
I’ve worked on three presidential campaigns: Hillary for America’s HQ in Brooklyn, N.Y.; in Des Moines, I.A. as the (maybe) last-ever caucus organizer for Sen. Elizabeth Warren; and Vice President Kamala Harris’s HQ in Wilmington, D.E.
I’m an incoming MBA Candidate and Forté Fellow at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a graduate of the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. I'm passionate about democracy + media, civic tech, climate, film/movies, swimming, cooking, and fiber arts.
